Our Management Style
Our management style at Cayuga is driven by our core values. We like to differentiate ourselves from other management companies by focusing on:
EXCELLENCE: We believe in getting better every day. Once we have achieved a goal, we will set ourselves new ones. Continuous improvement is an important part of our operating philosophy.
INTEGRITY: We manage by being the best possible example there is. We only promise things that we can deliver, we speak with the truth and most of all, our golden rule is, “treat others are you would like to be treated”.
PEOPLE: We understand that the biggest assets at our hotels are our people. They make the difference in the guest experience every day. We work with locals and train them to become better every day. We don’t give up easily and the many success stories at our properties make us believe that developing people to their full potential is the best part of our business.
LOYALTY: We make sure that our objectives are congruent with those of the organization we manage. We are clear in our actions and accept all consequences delivered by our decision making. We are faithful to our principles and to ourselves. We have complete respect for our clients, our guests and our staff by understanding and meeting their goals.
IDENTITY: We fully identify with each hotel that we manage. We become another team member of each property when we are there. We protect our client’s dreams and visions and achieve established goals. We make sure we work every day each hotel, as if it were our own.
THE LOCAL TOUCH: We believe in creativity and are sensitive to specific locations, its people and its culture. We avoid cookie-cutter solutions and don’t just copy what has been done in other parts of the world. Sustainability is part of each decision making process.
FLEXIBILITY: We are a young and dynamic company. No red tape. We hate bureaucracy!!! We have an entrepreneurial attitude in our way of managing and can easily adapt to new challenges, opportunities or situations. We are driven by goals and constantly improve our best practices.
THE EXPERIENCE: We understand that guests are not just looking for a nice room or delicious meal but for a unique and authentic experience. We focus on creating vacations that involve learning, connecting, experiencing and relaxing. |
